The High School Football Scoreboard was a PHP web application I built to support WPRI’s coverage of Rhode Island area high school sports. The application allowed web content producers to enter scores and links to articles covering high school football matches during the fall season. The application consisted of an administrative area where a season of games could be added in bulk as well as a front-end display, shown on WPRI.com that showed games scores as they came in from the field. This application was used by sales staff at WPRI to sell web content sponsorships and proved to be quite popular with area sports fans.
